In 2016, the IMPRES group launched the Colloquium Series on "Porous Media: from Theory to Application." We firmly believe that the diverse skills and research expertise spanning Chemical Engineering, Earth Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics create significant synergy, enabling collaborative research and driving innovation in new areas of study. Since then, we have consistently hosted the colloquium series, fostering a dynamic platform for exploring porous media research. Fast forward to 2023, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Lin Ma to our organizing team. With her invaluable support, we have expanded the scope of the colloquium series, offering a broader range of talks and further enriching the platform for knowledge exchange and intellectual growth. Together, we continue to strengthen the ties between theory and application, contributing to the advancement of porous media research. If you are interested in receiving regular updates or interested in giving a talk please contact Prof Vahid Niasar .
